We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at this lovely open air restaurant. I had garlic fish filet, my hubs had ceviche and our boys had burgers (shrimp and beef). The fishbowl drinks were sweet and fresh, the food was flavorful and portions were just right. I loved the ocean breeze and our views of the sunset over the water.

Very friendly personnel; the owner is very flexible in terms of service. Food is exceptional and amazing flavor. You got to try the coconut with lime and chili. They have also coconut with cocktails that will make your taste sky rocketed! If you are around Peninsula apartments or Riu hotel this is an excellent option even though you have all inclusive program paid. You won’t regret to try their service and food! Amazingly they have to go and delivery service to the beach. Just add their phone number in you wup app and you’ll find the menu and pics of the dishes. I hope you find this useful!

El Tequilita Restaurant and Bar... is a fantastic family owned and operated establishment to sit back and enjoy an authentic Mexican meal or one of the many refreshing beverages, including margarita's and "FREE" Tequila tasting bar..if your adventurous enough. All offered at very reasonable prices.. just steps away from the beautiful beach and awesome daily sunset, the staff (family members) are very friendly and helpful.. making you feel right at home, to enjoy the musical atmosphere or football game on the newly installed television, while your four legged fur babies sit by your side. Tequilita restaurant This was our first time to this restaurant. It’s a short taxi ride from Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay. Great food! The restaurant atmosphere reflects a lot of the Mazatlan experience. It’s an open air restaurant with a thatch roof. Very quaint and authentic. It’s a very relaxed and laid back atmosphere. The staff was very attentive and personable. The Mexican Sampler Platter was very good and offered a good variety of foods. Very filling. One person in our party had the seafood soup as an appetizer but it turned out to be a meal into itself. It had a huge amount of crab and shrimp. The shrimp fajitas were excellent. The only down side, which really is outside the restaurant’s control, was a foul aroma which occasionally would drift through the restaurant. Not sure if this was a one time event or a regular event. Will be able to judge better next time we come.

I’m not normally a reviewer but have to give a great rating to El Tequilita. I had the stuffed pablano and my husband had the grilled tuna. They were both delicious. The service was great! We met the whole family. Love places like this and hope they continue to do well. Highly recommend.

The shrimp tacos are amazing! Literally gonna get more before we leave the Riu! Fantastic prices and portions and the main server girl was great. She spoke great English and helped us decide on plates to share. Including a tip, we paid 2100 pesos (about 105 USD) for 3 of us. We each had 4 (or was it 6 lol) margaritas, 3 shrimp tacos, 3 lobster tacos, a platter with a chile rellano, quesadilla, chicken enchilada, steak strips, chips with guacamole and rice, plus MORE chips with a fantastic salsa and pico, AND 3 double shots of tequila! Don’t listen to the haters on here. El Tequilita is definitely worth it!

OMG! This was the best restaurant I’ve been to in Mazatlan! It’s right next to the Rui Emerald within walking distance. We stopped here for tequila tasting two days ago. This evening on our last night here we decided to eat here. My only regret is we didn’t try it out on the first day here or we would have been here every night. Henry the Protector drove us back to the resort. Awesome guy! Highly recommended this place 100%.
